Circle Internet Financial, a top digital financial technology firm, issues the USD Coin USDC and Euro Coin EUROC stablecoins. announced The company’s flagship product has been expanded to five major blockchain networks.
Circle announced USDC expansion for top blockchains
Circle announced its plans for USDC on Polkadot and Arbitrum as well as Cosmos, NEAR and Optimism at the Converge22 event on 28 September. The stablecoin will be available on four blockchains by 2022.
Cosmos will have USDC natively available in the early 2023s, according to a press release.
The rollout will increase USDC’s availability on blockchain ecosystems – native as opposed to abridged availability – from the current eight to thirteen. Circle already supports native USDC integration with Ethereum, Solana and TRON.
Joao Reginatto (VP Product at Circle) stated in a statement that native USDC support for these platforms increases liquidity and improves interoperability within the crypto industry for developers and users.
“Extending multi-chain support for USDC opens the door for institutions, exchanges, developers and more to innovate and have easier access to a trusted and stable digital dollar,” he added.

Circle also announced A new Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol is available for USDC.
The company claims that the forthcoming release will be an empowering tool, which will allow USDC interoperability and improved liquidity across crypto spectrum. It also reduces fragmentation of bridged assets.
Avalanche will be one of the first crypto platforms that integrates the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol.
