The team behind Terra 2.0 has announced that Terra 2.0 will launch its mainnet in May 2022.
While the announcement made via its official Twitter account did not specify the reasons for the delay, it expects the chain’s version two to go live at 6:00 AM UTC (tomorrow 28 May).

The community has been working around the clock to coordinate the new chain’s launch. Terra will go live at 06:00 UTC on May 28, 2022. This is subject to possible changes.

“Block 1 of the new chain will be produced following a supermajority of interconnected validators running simultaneously,” the team shared in the thread.

Top crypto exchanges announce LUNA helprop support
The Terra team is getting ready to reincarnate, weeks after a devastating crash of TerraUSD (UST), stablecoin, and the LUNA token. This time there won’t be any UST.
And despite the controversy, criticism and anger around Terra’s collapse, and opposition to forking the blockchain, a governance vote initiated on May 18 was passed to give way to the new chain.
A genesis block will also host an airdrop of LUNA, the native token for the new chain. Binance, KuCoin?, and FTXAll of them support the airdrop.

The migration of dApps that were built on the Terra Classic (LUNC) old chain is also expected. However, individual projects will choose when to do so, according to today’s communication.
