The crypto market in general is bearish. Most of the top 100 coins are in the red as of this writing.
Top cryptos
Bitcoin lost nearly 6% of its value within the last 24 hours and traded below $30,000. Ethereum is down about 7%. Binance Coin (BNB), which lost 8.50%, was reported by Bloomberg that the US Securities and Exchange Commission was investigating its US affiliate.
SEC is also investigating whether Binance should’ve registered BNB with the watchdog in 2017 when the ICO occurred. Cardano, Solana and the other two fell as well, with the latter falling as much as 10%.
Similar trends were observed for cryptos other than the top 10. Despite being listed by Europe’s biggest crypto exchange, Shiba Inu lost around 6% in the last 24 hours. UNUS SEED LEO remains the only top-20 green coin. Today, it gained 2%.
Top Movers
The trend was similar to the top 20 coins, with most coins losing 4-8%. ICP is the notable exception, falling 12%, AAVE (THORChain) and THORChain (10%), Axie Infinity (11%), and Neo (11%). All have reversed recent gains.
Gala is the top 100 green coin. It rose 4% after Gala Games announced its partnership with Epic Games for the launch of Battle Royale game Grit at the Epic Games Store. Galaverse, an important event in the ecosystem’s history, has entered its second day.
